In the Cliffs

$109.00

There is a 27 mile stretch of the San Juan River in southern Utah known as “Bluff to Mexican Hat”.  Paddling this river with its ancient cliff dwellings was an incredible way to experience this area.  Well preserved petroglyphs speak their stories of the people and their deity Kokopelli, as you paddle through towering canyon walls.  At night, camped on the river, I could look up narrow side canyons and see logs jammed high in the walls from flash floods, and rock walls glowing from the moonlight.  This 7 5/8" x 9 1/2" acrylic paint work is done on artist-quality tissue paper and mounted to black water color paper. The black metal frame is 16" x 20" x 1 3/8". Scroll down to see video. Free shipping.
